M.COM (APPLIED FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING)

St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore offers two year’s Post Graduate Course in M. Com (Applied Finance and Accounting).


OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:

SALIENT FEATURES OF THE COURSE :

Curriculum consists of theory and practical components in Finance and Accounting.
Course develops entrepreneurial abilities in students in the areas of capital market and money market.
Compulsory Internship in large scale business undertaking.
Compulsory Project at the IV Semester
Course is on par with MBA, CA, CFA, ACS and other advanced Finance courses.
Seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, group discussion etc. will be conducted.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Students with B. Com, BBM, and other Commerce and Management Degree From a recognized Indian and Foreign University and secured aggregate 50% and above marks are eligible to join the Course.

The Course will Facilitate the students to become professional consultants in Finance and accounting. It strengthens postgraduates’ employability in the areas oF Financial management in both the corporate and government organizations. After completion of the Course students will be absorbed in corporate sector, teaching and research.
