Composite 2005 was an intercollegiate fest organized by the students and the staff of the department of computer science (BCA), St Aloysius College on 15-Jan-2005 . The fest was open to all computer science (BSc) and computer application (BCA) students of colleges affiliated to Mangalore University.

The day began with the inaugural ceremony at 9.00 am. Mr Sudhir Ghate, chairman Magnum intergrafiks, was the chief guest. The function was presided by Rev Dr Eugine Lobo, accompanied by Mr Jeevan Pinto (HOD), Mr Santhosh B (staff coordinator) and Nelson Pais (student coordinator).

The chief guest Mr.Sudhir Ghate spoke on a brilliant future prospect for all computer application students. He particularly impressed the students with his words of advice on the advertising industry and the scope for graphics as a subject in IT. It was the pride of St.Aloysius College when Fr. Eugene Lobo announced that Mr.Sudhir Ghate was an alumni of this college. He went on to speak of the pride & tradition of St.Aloysius and the various achievements of students throughout the year.

•  Codification - Coding / Debugging

•  Fou Reclame - Mad Ads

•  Papier Presentation - SRS Document Presentation

•  Web designing

•  Crème de la crème - The main event of where one participant from a college had to undergo 3 rounds of tough competition.

ComposITe-2005 was a great success because of its various sponsors. During the evening tea break the students of the AICS (MCA) delivered a brilliant seminar to all those present, about their prospects in higher studies in Aloysius.

St.Agnes won the overall championship with SDM College of Business Management finishing a close second as the runner's up. Cheryl Aranha of St Agnes was crowned the “Crème de la crème” of ComposITe 2005.
