St Aloysius College has grown in leaps and bounds during the last few years. The IT Centre of St Aloysius College was commissioned in 2003. Dr Abdul Kalam, the President of India came to Mangalore to inaugurate this Centre for excellence in IT. With the starting of MBA, MS(Software Technology) and M Sc (Bioinformatics) we felt the need to move out to the new campus. Keeping this in mind about 17 acres of land was bought near Beeri,Ullal and the construction for the new campus for Management & Information Technology began in 2008. Within the span of 21 months seven buildings were completed at the cost of Rs 30 crores.

Dear friend we have an outstanding debt of Rs 17crores and we would like to complete the project at the earliest. In the second pahse we need to build one more block for MBA programme to house the Executive MBA programme. We want to have a MDP Centre to interact with the indsutry and train personnel from the industry. We are planning to build indoor basket Ball stadium with a swimming pool, more students and faculty quarters and a chapel. All this is going to cost us another Rs 30 crores.

We appeal to you to come forward to help us build this WORLD CLASS INSTITUTION which will offer excellent prormames in management & IT. We want to be one of the TOP TEN B-Schools in India within the next 5- 7 years, having interaction with the foreign Universities.

SCHOLARSHIPS & INTEREST FREE LOANS:

The Institute offers scholarships to meritorious students and Interest Free loans to students coming from weaker economic background. We want to build a CORPUS FUND of Rs 1 crore within the next three years. Every year we want to give financial aid to the tune of 20 lakhs. Dr Ram Rao , McGill U, Canada, has already contributed Rs 10 lakhs towards this fund and Mrs Selma Deans ( Rego), Mumbai, has also contributed Rs 4 lakhs as Interest Free loan towards this cause,
